Diane Webb from YesterDazeNews.com wrote a fantastic article profiling my book Crash: The World’s Greatest Drum Kits From Appice to Pert to Van Halen. Diane goes into some detail about my career and the wonderful artists I’ve worked with over the years. She also echoed a sentiment shared by drummers around the world: drums far too often take a back seat when being covered by the media! Diane writes, “Drums often get the back seat when fans go to live shows or see live show coverage on websites and in magazines, but not in this killer new book about drums by David Frangioni.”

Diane goes on to mention a few of the hundreds of artists I’ve worked with over the course of my 33-year career—Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, and Ringo Starr, to name a few.

I was flattered by the piece, the mention of all of the amazing people I have had the honor of working with, and the glowing review of Crash; however, I was exceptionally excited to see that she mentioned my work with the charity I founded, The Frangioni Foundation: “Not only has [he] been hands on with numerous artists over the years, but he’s also giving back to the community. He started the Frangioni Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization with a mission to engage, teach, inspire, heal, and enrich lives through the power of music, technology, faith, and drumming.”

A big thank you to Diane Webb and YesterDazeNews.com. Check out the full article here.
